Connecticut Carcinoid Initiative (CCI)

We are a  support and advocacy group of Carcinoid patients and caregivers dedicated to promoting awareness of Carcinoid Cancer.

NOTE : NEW LOCATION FOR MEETINGS

Our meetings are at Middlesex Hospital, 28 Crescent Street, Middletown, CT 06457 - in Conference Room B.  There is free parking at the hospital , which is easily accessible from Route 9.  Click for Directions.

Time has a way of creeping up on us
Registration for the
2011 NJ Carcinoid Cancer Network Conference
closes on October 12th
Don’t risk getting left out by not registering ahead of the conference date

Location:  The Crowne Plaza Hotel, Edison, NJ
Date :        Saturday, November 5th, 2011
Time :       Registration opens at 8:15 AM, Event ends at 5:00 PM.
Cost :        $32.50 per person, includes a full sit down lunch.

There are a limited number of hotel rooms available for $99 per night (plus 15% tax) for those who wish to stay over.

The agenda has been updated and the on-line registration and payment using PayPal fully functional. Portions of this event have been funded by a generous grant from Novartis.

Speakers will be
*     Dr. Richard Warner, well-known carcinoid “guru” from the NYC Mt Sinai School of Medicine.
*     Dr. Michael Soulen, Interventional Radiologist from University of Pennsylvania Hospital
*     Dr. Giuseppe Condemi who is rapidly growing his NET practice at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck,
            NJ (big announcement pending there)
*     Dr. Rodney Pommier, renowned thoracic surgeon who has been working with many NET patient
           coming in from Oregon Health Sciences University  in Portland, Oregon.

Walk-ins permitted on the morning of the conference, if space is available, and at a higher fee ($48, cash or check).
